Reviews and Ratings
I was delighted with my stay at the hotel. The room had a great bed and pillows, hot water was always available, and the Wi-Fi was satisfying. Being on the top floor with windows facing the front side provided a fantastic view and plenty of daylight, which I appreciated. The bathroom was well-equipped, and the location looking at Piazza Santa Maria Novella was ideal.
The hotel had some issues with the rooms such as poor lighting, broken window, and lack of amenities, but the bed and pillows were great, and there was always hot water; service was helpful but could improve communication; the location was excellent with easy access to central Florence and friendly staff; dining options were varied but not exceptional; overall value could be better.
The hotel is situated in a prime location, making it convenient to reach the main tourist spots. The rooms, though a bit Spartan and lacking views in the Single room, were still nice. The service was exceptional, especially with the proactive air conditioning in the heat wave and assistance with a last-minute balloon ride. Despite the noisy surroundings at night, the location offers easy access to key attractions like the Duomo. The dining experience, with an American buffet breakfast, was plentiful, but some aspects fell short. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
I found the hotel to be conveniently located near the central train station and main square, making it ideal for exploring the city. The service provided was top-notch, especially appreciated during a heatwave. The dining options were satisfactory but could get a bit crowded at times. Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great location and some room for improvement. The rooms were nice and very well decorated, but the odd configuration to get there was a bit of a hassle. The service was impeccable, especially with the thoughtful gesture of turning on the air conditioning before our arrival in a heatwave. The dining experience was average, but the hidden balcony with views of the piazza at night was a lovely touch.
The hotel has a perfect location, just a minute's walk to the city center and close to major tourist attractions. However, there is some noise from nearby restaurants and bars that can be disruptive at night. The rooms are quite spacious but need maintenance, with old and dark decor and views of pipes and metal walkways.
The hotel's location is incredible, right in the heart of Florence, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The rooms, although attached to a 'garden,' were a bit dark and in need of maintenance, lacking central light sources and essential facilities like tea/coffee makers. The service was top-notch, with staff being extremely helpful and even turning on the air conditioner before our arrival. The dining experience, while basic, offered enough to keep going until lunchtime. The facilities were decent, but some improvements could enhance the overall stay.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by its charming boutique style and the convenience of its location near the train station and major attractions. The double room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, although there was a noticeable smell of bleach. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The breakfast offered a decent selection of cereals, croissants, ham, cheese, and fruits, but it was not particularly impressive. The hotel facilities were satisfactory overall.
